I want a hat.  How can I get one?

Great!  That’s what we’re here for. There are a couple of ways you can do this.

On-line.  A number of pieces are available to purchase directly from our on line shop.  

Bespoke.  We also offer a bespoke service which means we can create a totally unique piece which is specific to your requirements.  For example we can work with you to match the colour of your piece to your outfit, include a specific piece of fabric, add particular detailing (pearls, crystals, feathers) or design something totally new for you.  We ask that you allow 4- 6 weeks for this process during which time at least one fitting is recommended.

I’m local; can I come to the studio to look at the pieces?

Of course!  We love to meet our clients face to face.  Our studios are based in North London.  Please contact us to make an appointment.

We’re also happy travel to appointments by prior arrangement.

I like the hat but not the colour / with that detail / size etc.  Can I customize it?

Yes.  With the exception of a few items most pieces are customizable.  Please contact us so we can discuss you requirements in more detail.

The piece I like isn’t in the shop!  What do I do?

Not all our pieces are available to buy on-line due to the availability of materials and the processes involved.  If you see a piece that you would like remade or customized in any way please contact us directly to discuss your requirements..

What about returns / exchanges?

We are able to accept returns / exchanges on items that are available for ‘immediate despatch’ within our on-line shop and this will be noted where possible.  These items can be returned within 14 days of delivery providing it has been unworn with all labels intact and in its original packaging.  All returns will be subject to a 5% restocking fee.  See our T&C’s for more information.

We are unable to offer a refund / exchange on items ‘made on request’, that have been customised or are a bespoke order.

What if an item is faulty?

In the unlikely event that a piece is found faulty we’ll cover all costs involved in exchanging it.

How long will it take to get my piece?

Details of the time taken to complete your piece are stated in the product information when buying on-line.  These are a guide of the longest time it will take us to make your piece but we aim to get it to you as quickly as possible.  Once we’ve finished your piece we will e-mail you to let you know it’s on its way.

Please note that bespoke / customised pieces take longer make so please allow 4-6 weeks during busy periods.  In this case we’ll liaise directly with you to confirm dates.

How long will it take for delivery?  

Items sent within the United Kingdom are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery.  Allow 2-4 days for delivery.

Please Contact Us for postage prices and delivery times if you are ordering from outside the United Kingdom.

All these services will require a signature.  Full details are outlined in our T&C’s.

I need my piece in a hurry!

Completion and delivery times for on-line purchases are outlined in the product information prior to purchasing your piece.  Certain pieces are immediately available.

Bespoke pieces are subject to consultation.

If you do need your piece in a hurry please contact us and we’ll do our very best to accommodate this.  An extra charge may be applicable.

I have a small/ large/head or don’t know my head size.

Our blocked ladies hats that are available are made to the 22 ½” industry standard.  We are happy to make hats larger or smaller at no extra cost prior to dispatch.  

How to measure your head:  Using a soft tape measure place it around the head positioning it mid forehead (about 1 inch, 2.5cm above the eyebrows) passing it around the back of the head at the largest point and above your ears.   Should you need further assistance please contact us.

What currency are your prices in?

All prices are in UK £ sterling.
